Opportunity to become the Accountable Clinical Director (ACD) for the Rutland Primary Care Network (PCN)

An opportunity has arisen to be the Accountable Clinical Director (ACD) for the Rutland Primary Care Network (PCN).

  • Accountable to the Rutland PCN members
  • Provide leadership for the PCN's strategic plans
  • Working with members to improve the quality, cost and effectiveness of services
The ACD will work collaboratively with ACDs from other PCNs within the STP area, playing a critical role in shaping and supporting the STP, helping to ensure full engagement of primary care in developing and implementing local system plans.

The time commitment will be a minimum of two sessions per week, with an initial term from 1st July 2019 to 31st March 2022.  Reimbursement will be £0.69 per patient per annum, or part thereof, paid to the clinician’s Practice.

This role is open to clinicians from the four Rutland Practices.  I would be grateful if Practice Managers would forward details of this opportunity to all clinical staff within their respective Practices who would be able to perform this role (eg, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists and Physician’s Assistants)
