As a result I have retained a particular interest in the development of the Federation ever since. With the demands on primary care continuing to grow the need to work smarter not merely harder is ever present. I strongly believe that general practice can be more resilient through working together and the role the Federation will play in facilitating and where appropriate leading such closer working is a key to success. We all want to achieve provision of sustainable and outstanding healthcare in our communities. I look forward to supporting the Federation in assisting practices to achieve this vision.”
